Andrea Sinfield

Andrea loves working with children and has worked with them for many years doing both Rainbows and Brownies. Qualified as a Gym Instructor, Dance Teacher and Level 3 Disability Coach, Andrea now works within the Amber Valley area passing on her skills and experiences to the children. In addition to this Andrea is also qualified to teach Boxercise.

Cheryl Naylor

I set up Ripley netball club in 1993. I am a level 2 coach and B award umpire; I umpire all levels from junior league to Loughborough Lightning’s NTL (National Talent League). In 2007 I was awarded Amber Valleys Coach of the Year and runner up for Derbyshire. I am also a level 1 trampolineing coach and worked at Ripley Leisure Centre up until 2 years ago.

Dan White

I have been a sports coach for over 10 years, involved in coaching various levels of athletes from schools, clubs and academies. I currently hold my UEFA B (level 3) coaching award, as well as the youth coaches and level 2 goal keeping awards. I have worked with Sheffield United and Derby County football academies and I also currently play semi-pro football and have done so for many years. My qualification list is impressive and I have experience in delivering/tutoring various sports awards.

Edward Smith

I have recently graduated from my Dance Degree having extensive training in a wide variety of styles catering for any age of students. I have experience of personally performing on the large stage working alongside both adults and children. I am now working to bring my knowledge into the local schools.

Hannah Kearns

I have been coaching gymnastics for the past six years as a general gymnastics coach. For the last year I have coached in both school and community settings at recreational level. My aim is to promote gymnastics as a fun activity, accessible by all.

Judy Payling

Judy Payling is the Athletics Community Sports Coach for the Amber Valley and Erewash School Sport Partnership areas. The role aims to link activity and sessions from Schools and the Community into the Amber Valley Athletics Club. Judy holds the Level 2 qualification (jumps) and leads the Recreation Group as well as being the clubs Kit / Clothing Officer.

Ken Hardy

Ken has been a full-time sports coach for 3 years, after previously working as a sales and marketing director for a global company. He now runs Lane1 Coaching (Little Adults Need Exercise), and coaches a variety of sports including Swimming, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Street Surfin, Golf and Badminton.

Ken coaches’ children of all ages within schools and clubs, and also coaches the Derby County Ladies senior Football team who were recently promoted to the women’s premiership.

Lee Albrighton

Worked at Derby County for 10 years, now work at Mansfield Town Centre of Excellence as U9s and U10s coach. I coach football at most schools and after schools and holiday clubs.

Lesley Sturgess

England Squash Level 3 Coach, and SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) fitness instructor. Lesley is also a current member of the England Ladies 045 team. She won the Women's over 45 British National Squash Championships in 2007and the over 45 British Racquetball Championship in 2007, 2008 and 2009, plus the over 50 British Racquetball Championship 2009. Lesley was also the winner of the DERBY SPORTS PERSON Veteran of the Year Award 2007

Marie Harbon

Marie is a qualified Dance, Fitness, Cheerleading, football and Volleyball coach currently working in schools within the Amber Valley area.

Mark Ozenbrook

My passion is investing in the futures of young people, by encouraging them to experience the benefits of sport. I have coached for the last 7 years in a variety of sports. I have spent time in America and Africa coaching children of all ages. Currently I am working in primary schools across Amber Valley delivering extra curricular activities. I possess a number of level 1 NGB awards among them are orienteering, hockey, netball & football. My preferred sport is football in which I am qualified at level 2. Over the last year the core of my coaching has been delivering multiskills.

Neil Kay

I hold qualifications in Golf, Athletics, Water Polo and Volleyball. I am currently working for the Amber Valley SSP as a project development co-ordinator with a main current objective to develop the Active Lunchtime programme. Supporting young people to further develop their interest in sport is really important to me, my role helps me lease with primary schools (PCT) to then recognise sporting needs of it's young people to further help structure and embed in schools.

Rachel Dixon

Coached gymnastics for the past 12 years as a squad artistic coach. For the last 8 years I have coached in school and community settings at recreational level. My aim is to promote gymnastics as a fun activity, accessible by all.

Steph Burton

Steph has been involved in the fitness industry for 18 years and has always enjoyed some form of sport or exercise from as soon as she could walk! As a young teen she was a swimmer and competed in the Commonwealth trials twice and swam with the Nottinghamshire Swim Squad Nova-Centurion coached by the England coach Bill Furniss. Steph now teaches children of all ages in a variety of activities from Pilate's to yoga and dance based classes.

Toyah-Louise Bacon

Toyah a level 2 coach is a qualified tutor of the English Gymnastics helper’s award. She works in a number of Primary Schools running After School Clubs. Toyah is a Coach and member of Amber Valley Gymnastics Club and has performed at a high level through her club and is now taking this knowledge into her coaching. Currently coaching gymnastics but looking into becoming more involved with trampolineing as she is taking her level 2 qualifications.

Tracey Lineker

I have been involved with gymnastics since I was 5 and have been coaching for the past 8 years. I am also a women’s artistic regional judge and have been doing this for the past four years. In my spare time other than gymnastics I coach cheerleading and street dance.
